We all have intentions
The prayer room was very popular today as pilgrims got a chance to sit, pray or simply rest for a while. So that is what I did – sit down and soaked up the silence and felt the calm. On the way out, I noticed the prayer wall, which is covered in bright post-it notes with hand written intentions. After I added my intention, I could not help notice a few of the others: intentions for success in finding a job; prayers for a family member who is ill; but the one that really made me smile was written by a child and simply asked for ‘a sunny day and peace’. Neither of which is too much to ask for.
