During the week of the Congress we had some items for sale which pilgrims wanted to keep as memorabilia of this momentous occasion and as resources for prayer.

Special Commemorative Congress Double DVDCommemorative DVD

The Congress has produced a Special Commemorative DVD , that includes the full Opening Ceremony followed by Mass (RDS) and the Closing Ceremony followed by Mass (Croke Park). The DVD will be released on the 9th November and is available to be ordered through the RTE website, and other outlets such as Veritas, Golden Discs, HMV, Tesco, Xtravision, Tower Records and Celtic Note.

Another DVD will also be made available with a selection of celebrations and keynote speakers during the week of the Congress (From Monday 11th June to Saturday 16th June).

We are publishing the Proceedings of the Congress in three volumes:

- Proceedings of Plenary Sessions (Volume 1)

- Selection from Concurrent Sessions (Volume 2)

- Proceedings of the International Symposium of Theology (Volume 3)

These will be available from Veritas shops and online from December 2012. 

As an individual we encourage you to place an order for items you are interested in receiving through your parish office or Diocesan representative. A copy of our Hymn and Prayer can be downloaded for free. For the Hymn click here and for the Prayer click here.

IEC2012 issued a commemorative medal to mark the 50th International Eucharistic Congress.The standard IEC2012 medal is in English. The Irish IEC2012 medal is a limited edition with 1000 numbered medals available.

IEC2012 Commemorative Prayer Book

Communion with Christ and with One Another is the commemorative prayer book for the 50th International Eucharistic Congress. 

Edited by Father Donal Neary SJ, the book includes scripture reflections and prayers in celebration of the 50th International Eucharistic Congress. 

The prayer book is available to buy in Saint Francis Xavier's Church, Gardiner Street, and in Veritas shops. You can also order online from Veritas and the Archdiocese of Dublin web site.



Congress stamp 55c

Congress Stamps

An Post, Ireland’s Post Office, issued two special stamps to celebrate the 50th International Eucharistic Congress. The stamps were designed in vibrant shades of red and yellow by Martin Barlow, who also designed the Congress logo.

The 55c stamp features the Chalice and Host, illustrating the importance of the Eucharist in the Roman Catholic faith. The 55c stamp covers postage up to 50g within Ireland.

The 82c stamp features the Blessed Sacrament and Monstrance representing the visible presence of God within the Roman Catholic. The 82c stamp covers airmail postage worldwide up to 50g.
