Dr Lorna Gold is originally from Scotland and works as Policy and Advocacy Manager for the Catholic Development agency Trócaire.
Her recent book New Financial Horizons is a study of how the Economy of Communion has led to a robust culture that has the capacity to engage the whole human person as a unity to overcome the divisive effects of a fragmented and divided self in economic life.

It looks at how a global network of 750 businesses -The 'Economy of Communion' - have been actively applying Gospel values in business and sharing profits with those in need for over 20 years.
