Title of event Night Prayer in the Carmelite Tradition
Description of event

Event 1:
Carmelite Night Prayer: A quiet contemplative space drawing on the rich heritage of the Carmelite Contemplative tradition. Fr Dermot and Dr Marie will be joined by members of Carmelite Choirs from all over Ireland for the occasion on both nights.

Event 2:
I was in Prison and you Came to Visit Me (Mt 25:36). What does Communion with Prisoners, their suffering and their healing mean in our world today? This workshop will explore the lived experience of prison life, and the theology of prison ministry and spirituality of prisoners. Dr Marie, will present this with Fr. Charlie Hoey, O.Carm, Parish Priest, Whitefriar Street and Founder of Care After Prison Project.
