The Run4Unity Celebration is the culminating event of the 5 km Fun Run for children and teenagers, held in Belfast, on May 12th 2012. Formally opened by Robin Swann, MLA (UUP) and Conall McDevitt, MLA (SDLP), the aim of this event, taking place all over the world is to give the participants an experience of working together as part of something bigger than themselves, developing a spirit of unity (or communion) and, in the process, raising funds to assist their peers in developing countries. This culminating celebratory Run4Unity event consists of music, songs and choreographies with photos and videos from all over Ireland highlighting how the teenagers prepared for the run.
