Go! Be Church! invites young people aged 17 to 25 to take part in the youth programme at the 50th International Eucharistic Congress. The programme includes workshops, drama, interactive catechesis, celebrations, social activities, prayer, games and art. Young people will come together to reflect on the deep human hunger for meaning, love, God, healing and communion.

Chiara Luce Youth Space

The youth programme will take place in the Chiara Luce Youth Space at the RDS. Chiara Badano, called “Chiara Luce” (“Claire Light” in Italian), was a young woman involved in the Focolare movement, who died in 1990 aged 18, after succumbing to a bone cancer. She was described as as “a hurricane of light” and beatified in 2010. She is the patron saint of the youth space at the 50th International Eucharistic Congress.

The MCs (presenters) for the youth programme are: Ms Anna Keegan from Catholic Youth Care (CYC), Ms Susie Keane from 3Rock, Mr Patrick Reynolds from The Elijah Fellowship and Ms Maura Garrihy.

The house band will be Elation Ministries. Spiritual guides who are certified by All Ireland Spiritual Guidance Association (AISGA) will be available to talk and pray with pilgrims.

MAGiS Ireland will lead an ecumenical pilgrim walk to different Christian churches in Dublin on Monday 11th June. Read more about the ecumenical pilgrim walk. MAGiS Ireland will organise interactive events in the city to help young people explore the daily Congress themes. Read more about Go Deeper - Experience the MAGiS during IEC2012.

The youth programme will follow the same themes as the main Congress Programme.
